In-situ measurement using of high resolution elastic wave velocity measurement system to understand a groundwater flow in rock mass

Matsui, Hiroya; Ishiyama, Koji*; Yoshino, Osamu*; Hikima, Ryoichi*; Sanoki, Satoru*; Hayashi, Kunihiko*; Takahashi, Masahiro*; Sato, Masaru*

no journal, ,

This paper is described about the results of collaboration study between Nishimatsu cop. and JAEA to estimate the applicability of high resolution elastic wave velocity measurement for understanding of a groundwater flow. The measurement was carried out in the vicinity of the groundwater recovery test drift in MIU and it continued for about three month from just after starting at the drainage of the test drift. The results suggested that the elastic wave velocity change were measured with groundwater flow due to drainage of the test drift and the high resolution elastic wave velocity measurement can be applicable for understanding of groundwater flow.

Study on long term consolidation behavior of buffer materials, 2; Preliminary long term consolidation test and numerical study on the dissipation delay of the excess pore water pressure

Takayama, Yusuke; Kikuchi, Hirohito*; Miyakawa, Ryoma*; Yamamoto, Yoichi*; Goto, Takahiro*

no journal, ,

In this research, in order to confirm the acceleration behavior of the secondary consolidation, a comparatively long consolidation test (about 1 year) was carried out. And in order to investigate the dissipation delay of the excess pore water pressure in consolidation test, a reproduction analysis was carried out in consideration of the density dependency of the coefficient of permeability.

Oral presentation

Development of the Integrated System for Repository Engineering (iSRE), 6; Expansion of function for practical use of the iSRE

Numata, Taro*; Fujisawa, Yasuo*; Kobayashi, Yuichi*; Sugita, Yutaka; Kageyama, Takeshi; Hane, Koji*; Sahara, Fumihiro*; Yabuki, Nobuyoshi*; Makanae, Koji*

no journal, ,

This paper reports development of ISRE (the Integrated System for Repository Engineering), as a knowledge management tool on the repository design and engineering technology, which manages and inherits the information and knowledge of each phase of the disposal project of the radioactive waste during around 100 years, which also enables reasonable design of the repository by using accumulated and integrated information. Content of this paper is expansion of function for practical use of the iSRE.

Oral presentation
